James W. Inskeep, Esq.

Mr. Inskeep, founder of Inskeep IP Group, practices in the Torrance office. He specializes in IP counseling for all aspects of IP law, including litigation, prosecution, strategic planning, licensing and due diligence. His practice emphasizes medical device technology. He obtained a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in 1983 and a J.D. from the Washington College of Law at the American University in Washington D.C. in 1989. Mr. Inskeep is a former patent examiner. Mr. Inskeep started his career as an associate at Burns Doane Swecker and Mathis LLP in Alexandria, Virginia and then joined Poms Smith Lande & Rose PC in Los Angeles in 1994. That firm merged with Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly of Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1997. Charles E. Fredericks, Esq.

Mr. Fredericks practices in the Torrance office and specializes in patent prosecution, infringement evaluations and IP consulting.  With almost two decades of experience, Mr. Fredericks has focused his practice on a wide range of medical devices, as well as most types of mechanical technology. He was granted a B.S. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Vermont in 1999 and a J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 2002. Peyali Chowdhury, Ph.D

Mrs. Chowdhury is a registered patent agent and practices in our Torrance office.  She has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Geneva, Switzerland and has over 10 years of graduate and postdoctoral research experience from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, the University of Kansas, Lawrence, and the University of Geneva, Switzerland.  Mrs. Chowdhury has particular expertise in organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organometalic chemistry, formulations, small molecule synthesis, methodology development, polymer chemistry, and catalysis.  pchowdhury@inskeeplaw.com

Jason L. Gilbert, Esq.

Mr. Gilbert practices in the Chanhassen office.  He has over fifteen years of experience prosecuting patents covering a wide range of technologies in the electrical, software, and mechanical arts.  He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2003, where he specialized in digital signal processing and communications.  He earned his J.D. from Hamline Law School in 2006, where he concentrated in intellectual property and participated in Intellectual Property Moot Court.  He is licensed to practice law in Minnesota, registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota.  jgilbert@inskeeplaw.com
